No. 3 Volleyball Earns Sweep of OU-Chillicothe

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus State Community College volleyball team bounced back after two losses earlier in the week to sweep Ohio University-Chillicothe on Friday night.

Key Statistics

-Bobby Diamond and Mason Steele led the Cougars with ten and nine kills respectively. Diamond also put up a trio of solo blocks at the net.

-Audrey Jenkins dished out 31 assists and nearly had a double-double with nine digs.

-Tate Rybarczyk tallied 19 digs and two assists.

Overall Statistical Leaders

-Rybarczyk leads the nation in total digs (361).

-Diamond 12th in the nation in kills per set (3.53) and 14th in attack percentage (.352).

-Jenkins is 4th in assists per set with 9.40 while Rybarczyk is 11th in digs per set with 5.24 scoops.

-Akea Hunter & Burgin Bachman are both in the top 10 nationally in blocks per set with 1.15 and 1.06 respectively.

-The Cougars are in the top 15 in the country in multiple statistical categories. They are 2nd in the nation in total blocks (190), 3rd in blocks per set (2.79), 5th in assists per set (10.40), 12th in kills per set (10.43), and 14th in digs per set (17.54).
