
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The OCCAC women's basketball regular season came to a close on Saturday with brackets finalized for the NJCAA District I Tournament March 6-7, 2015 at Ohio Christian University in Circleville, Ohio.
The Columbus State women's basketball team (20-4, 11-3 OCCAC) finished second in the conference, behind Owens Community College (Toledo, Ohio). Both Columbus State and Owens received a bye for the Tuesday quarterfinals.
The Cougars will play the winner of Tuesday's game between No. 3 Cincinnati State and No. 6 Cuyahoga at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, March 6. If the Cougars win, they will advance to play in the district championship game on Saturday, March 7 at 1:00 p.m.
Columbus State swept both the Cincinnati State Surge and Cuyahoga Challengers 2-0 this season.
