CEDARVILLE, Ohio - The Columbus State men's cross country team finished 38th at the 2016 All-Ohio Championships held at Cedarville University on Friday.
The eight-kilometer race featured 42 teams from all three divisions of the NCAA, NAIA as well as NJCAA DIII. Freshman Cody Null paced the Cougars by finishing first among NJCAA runners and 200th in the 287-person field, crossing the line in 29:11.2. Freshman Adam Glass followed in 221st place with a time of 29:47.3, while sophomore Jesus Davis checked in at 32:29.6 for a 255th place finish.
Ohio State University won the meet while University of Dayton, University of Cincinnati, Miami University, and Ohio University rounded out the top five. Tiffin's James Ngandu captured the overall individual title with a 24:49.7 finish.
The Cougars returns to action on October 14 when they travel to Wilmington College. The race is scheduled to begin at 5:15p.m.
