NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – Sophomores Preston Yeater and Nicholas Darling birdied five holes to lead the Cougars to a sixth place finish of seven teams at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational on Monday. Columbus State finished with scores of 348-334—682 (+106) at the 36-hole tournament.
Yeater carded 80-78—158 to tie for 13th place while Darling finished with 78-82—160, tying for 18th place.
Rounding out the Cougars' scoring was freshman Michael Earls, who closed out with a 102-90—192.
Cardinal Stritch University compiled a 302-298—600 (+24) score over two rounds to win the title by two strokes stroke over host Indiana Wesleyan University.

The Cougars will be back in action Sat, April 27 at the Ohio State-Lima Invitational held at the Colonial Golfers Club in Harrod, Ohio.
