OTTAWA HILLS, MICH. - The Columbus State men's golf team closed out the Lourdes University Invitational with a team score of 342 over 18 holes on Wednesday to tie the host for 6th place out of nine teams. The Cougars competed exclusively with four-year schools at the 18-hole, par-72 tournament held a the Legacy Golf Club.
Rounding out the Cougars' scoring was freshman Michael Earls who scored a 95 for a 45th place finish.
Clearly University compiled a score of 316 to win the title by a nine strokes over Trine University.

The Cougars will be back in action Fri, April 19 at the University of Northwestern Ohio's Invitational held at Hidden Creek in Lima, Ohio.
