Columbus State to host NJCAA District 11 & District I Tournaments

COLUMBUS, Ohio – For the second year in a row, Columbus State is set to host the NJCAA Men’s Basketball District 11 and Women’s Basketball District I tournaments at Ohio Christian University (OCU) in Circleville.

The 2015 Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) men's and women's basketball tournament will come to the Maxwell Center on OCU’s campus March 6-7. The (OCCAC) men's and women's basketball tournament brings four men's and four women's teams to Circleville for a two-day single elimination tournament.

The tournament showcases the conference’s best men's and women's basketball teams with semifinal matchups on Friday, March 6 and the championship finals on Saturday, March 7. The semifinals will feature two afternoon women's games at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. and two evening men's contests at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The finals will feature the women's championship game at 1:00 p.m. and the men's championship game at 4:30 p.m. 

Brackets for the tournaments will be finalized by Monday, March 2 and posted on the conference website (www.occac.org).
