Members of the women's cross country team compete at the All-Ohio XC meet

CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Three members of the Columbus State women's cross country team competed in the All-Ohio Cross Country Meet, hosted by Cedarville University.

The teams comprised of 11 NCAA DI teams, 17 NCAA DII and NAIA teams, 18 NCAA DIII teams and several junior colleges and running clubs.

Stevie Shepherd was the first Cougar to cross the finish line, notching a 26:25.06 time, resulting in a 412th place finish. Sherpherd was followed by Emily Howard, who finished in 478th place with 27:34.86. Halla Jones clocked 565th place with a time of 31:05.85.

Ellen Isaac of Ohio University won the race with a time of 21:07.87.

After a weekend off, the team returns to competition on Saturday, October 17 when they head to the Oberlin Invitational in Oberlin, Ohio.
