COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus State volleyball team will hold an open tryout Saturday, May 4 at the Delaware Hall Athletic Center gymnasium, head coach Jill Yocum announced.
The tryout will run from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. and is open to all high school seniors, CSCC students, and transfers.
Any player interested in attending the tryout must bring a copy of a physical taken within the past year and should fill out the prospective student-athlete form: http://cscccougars.com/recruits/Athletics_Interest_Form
Jill Yocum took over as the Cougars head coach in 2015 after serving as the assistant coach for several seasons. She has amassed an 86-42 record with two trips to the NJCAA tournament in three years and produced five athletic all-Americans and five academic all-Americans during her tenure. Columbus State captured both the regional and district titles in the 2017-18 season, along with the Final Four appearance at the national tournament in Rochester, Minnesota. In the 2018-19 season, the Cougars finished as the OCCAC runner-up.
