Columbus State's Wynn Voted OCCAC Player of the Week

Julia Wynn, a sophomore middle hitter for Columbus State Community College, has been voted this week's OCCAC player of the week in women's volleyball.
Wynn led the Cougars to a 2-1 week among three conference matches. In a five set loss to Cincinnati State, she had 12 kills, eight digs and eight blocks. She followed that up with 20 kills, four digs and two blocks in a five set win over Lakeland. Then, she closed the week with 14 kills, four digs and 11 blocks in a four set win over Cuyahoga.
In total, Wynn produced 46 kills, three aces, 16 digs and 21 blocks (eight solo) over 14 sets and three matches this past week.
For the season, Wynn has 203 kills, 16 aces, 64 digs and 86 blocks (27 solo). She has helped Columbus State to a 12-7 record overall, including a 3-4 record in OCCAC play.
Wynn and the Cougars will be back in action against Vincennes University and Oakland Community College this weekend.
