PIQUA, Ohio - The Columbus State women's basketball team dropped a conference loss to DII Edison State on Saturday afternoon.

- The Cougars and the Chargers both scored 18 points in the second quarter and 16 points in the third quarter. Only down nine after the third, fourth quarter woes such as turnovers came into play, allowing Edison State to jump ahead.
- Whitney Staggs led all players in points (21) and boards (13) along with having the lone double-double of the game.
