Men’s Cross Country Team Finish in First Place!

DELAWARE, Ohio – The Columbus State Men's Cross Country Team finished first at the second annual home meet held at the Delaware Campus Cross Country Course on Saturday.

Sophomore Adam Glass led the way for the Cougars finishing in first place posting a time of 17:23 in the five-kilometer race.  Cody Null , Aaron Kennelly, and Garrett Lafferty all finished in the top ten for the Cougars. Romell Curry secured the win for the Cougars crossing the finish line with a time of twenty minutes and 18 seconds.    

On the women's side, sophomore Elizabeth Finley led Columbus State with a time of 24:11 in the 5k. Sophomore Madeline Bodie also competed and crossed the finish line at 27:21.

The Cougars return to action on Fri, Sept. 29 when they travel to Cedarville University. The women's race begins at 2:00 p.m. and the men are scheduled to start at 2:15 p.m.
