Columbus State places third at Lourdes Invitational

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Columbus State men's golf team finished in third place at the Lourdes University Spring Invitational, its fourth event of the season. The tournament was held April 19th at the par-71 Heatherdowns Country Club.

The Cougars posted a 306 (+22) over the one round tournament. Lourdes University won team honors with a 292 (+8), followed by Tiffin University's 297 (+13).

Tying for fourth place, Dominic Caminiti and John Carlisle paced the Cougars with a 2-over par 73. Christopher Dearth shot a 78 to tie for 12th place to round out the top 15 finishers.

Jack Casebolt and Philip Campisi carded an 82 and 83 respectively while John Mikulec shot an 86.

Columbus State will be back in action hosting a one day invitational on Sat, April 22 at 1:00 p.m.
