COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Columbus State men's basketball team defeated the Owens Express to advance to the Region XII DIII final to face Lorain County.

- The Cougars bested the Express in every statistical category, including field goal percentage 54.8%-37.5%, rebounds 51-21, and steals 12-2.

Jeremiah Green led all players with 20 points on 8-for-11 shooting and a perfect 4-for-4 at the line.

- Corey Baker scored 19 points, along with grabbing a game-high nine rebounds, dishing out six assists and snatching five steals.

-Keshawn Underwood, Charles Aden, and RJ Fairrow each scored 15 points while Melieck Evans an Uchenna Ngene-Igwe had 14 and 11 points respectively.
